On Thursday 20th November my husband Nick (yes the cool photographer with a beard in the Microsoft advert) and I attended the celebrations to mark the 300 years of The Guru Grandth Sahib at the House of Commons. It was a wonderful event with highlights of music, tea and guests, and speeches. In particular, I enjoyed meeting Simon Hughes MP, who, as well as being the local Member of Parliament for the constituency I live in, is also the Vice-Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Sikhs. You can read about the event as reported on Sikhnet.
