In May 2007 the Nehru Centre, London, hosted the Living Divinely exhibition of photographs by Nick Fleming. It was the culmination of 8 years of his work, during which time he spent many months living with various spiritual communities recording their daily lives. In this opening address I answer the two questions that are most asked about Living Divinely: what started the whole idea, and how did it keep going. The answers may surprise you. At the end I daringly called a fabulous Nihang Singh (Sikh Spiritual Warrior) in full regalia up to lead everyone in a Sikh Battle cry. We nearly brought the roof off. It was probably the first time that something like that's happened in Mayfair. Click here to see it on YouTube. You can skip the introduction of it and go straight to the speech.
