It was great recently to have Paul Steinbrecher of Chicago join us for one of the classes at Pineapple. His sister and brother-in-law, Nirvair Kaur and Nirvair Singh, founded founded Yogi Bhajan's Ashram in Alaska over 35 years ago and Paul's been around Kundalini Yoga ever since. This is Paul's take on the class:
"I truly believe that yours was among the very best Kundalini Yoga classes that I’ve been privileged to attend. The directness and sharpness of your teaching approach is so very helpful to me – your sharing of your direct experience, linking it then to the lineage teachers and teachings, and then transmitting the teaching in a straightforward manner as it was transmitted to you, unadorned by unnecessary opinions or interpretations, is the way that I receive the most blessing. It also allows the multiple-level benefits of the kriya to pass most purely and directly into my own experience, which sets up the fertile ground for the whole chain to be perpetuated (I am thinking of taking Teacher Training here next year). Blessings on you for your innate skill and wisdom in teaching, and your God-given ability to weave your own story into supporting the teaching and showing the benefits without turning the spotlight on yourself – a rare quality."
Thank you Paul for your kind words. |
